Lake & Mountain Views with Spa | Movie Night

We enjoyed our stay in Queenstown, picturesque, lots to do, lots of great places to dine/drink. Queenstown informati Positive: Property would be considered glamping, views from the balcony to the mountains were exceptional/stunning. At night time, We enjoyed the projector/Netflix in the kitchen/lounge (not technically a home cinema) note: the screen, blocks access to the only exit/entry door. Negative: We made do ….but We didn’t feel the property was value for money, the property did not live up to the description, and was not represented in the cost in comparison to other properties we’ve stayed at (regular travellers using Booking.com) 40 stairs leading up to cabin (not advertised) very difficult when carrying 30 kg cases up the top, plus your carry on luggage etc, unsafe, rubber mats cable tied to stairs (not secured properly on all stairs). as mentioned, Views from the balcony to the mountains were exceptional/stunning, the rest of the property the weeds and scrub were overgrown and untidy (front of property, untidy due to washing bags left all over the drive, as mentioned below) Suggestion for landlord Provide fully equiped kitchen - tea towels, bowls, plates - note: large plates didn’t fit in the microwave No sink or running water in the kitchen for washing up No oven - however we were provided with an air fryer after asking - thank you! No additional mirrors (one in bathroom) No storage - No closet or hanging space No cooling in the bedrooms (need to cater for everyone). On arrival, we were unsure whether the linen was fresh… As it was creased and crumpled and looked unkempt - no additional towels, blankets, tea towels, No additional towels provided for hot tub Property advertised that washing facilities were available, however the washing facilities were only available from an Airbnb washing business being done in the front unit at the bottom of the property, where huge laundry bags were consistently left outside and the property was left very unkempt. The washing machines / driers were not available to us because they were consistently being used by the staff there. Car parking spaces, although numbered, first in first served! Off street parking available but not usually available, because the street was so busy.

Not awful but probably wouldn’t stay here again. Positive: Modern, warm, great tv. Negative: Large set of stairs to enter the property. Very dirty hot tub. Property full of rubbish from construction.

Overall enjoyed our stay Positive: The hot tub and the views were amazing and a breathtaking Negative: No kitchen sink and had to do any dishes in a tiny bathroom basin!! no toilet roll holder and stair case leading up to the apartment were a little sceatchie and need to railing leading up to the unit

Worth a visit! Positive: The views were incredible and we loved the hot tub. The bathroom was modern, spacious and lovely and warm. We also liked the home cinema but found it awkward that we couldn't open the door when we had the tv screen down! Negative: For safety reasons, there needs to be fencing or a rail at the very top of the stairs. The stairs are also very steep and a little slippery and had I known this, I would have packed our clothes into a backpack because it wasn't easy lugging our suitcases up all those stairs.
