Cozy Single Unit with Full Kitchen

Positive: Great amenities and kitchen. Bathroom and washing machine were fab. Lovely views and easy location on the bus route into town. Negative: Noisy from upstairs and poor quality pillows

Overall such a great place, great amenities and location! Positive: Best value for money! Great location, great facilities, place was clean and the owner was very nice and responsive. We loved the fact the unit had a washer and dryer which is essential when travelling, but the extra touches like a heater and heated towel rack in bathroom were great for the colder Queenstown nights. Negative: The ONLY downside is how thin the walls and ceiling are. We had extremely loud upstairs neighbours about 2-3 nights and you could hear every footstep, and conversation which is quite annoying when you’re trying to sleep. The same goes for the unit next door, conversations are heard as well as the TV.

Positive: The view is good. Negative: The description didn't tell you that this is half a basement. The floorboards are thin and the footsteps, talking, laughing and even hopping of the people upstairs are heard. The noise didn't stop after midnight. At 2 am someone was still walking around in the house upstairs. The bed is low and squeaky, we had to decide whether to sleep in the cold or to have the noisy heatpump on. If you value a good night's rest as a traveler, stay somewhere else. The unit number was also hard to find. The number 33 on the main house was small, there is no house number on the driveway and unit 33a needed to be explored a bit. Not fun after a long driving journey.

Best accomodation near the town centre Positive: The location was so close to the town centre. The view from the unit are spectacular. Very appreciative of the kindness of the host by allowing us to check out at 10.30am

Disappointing. The apartment has great potential but needs improvement. Positive: Good size property with full kitchen, washing machine, dryer, large tv, own parking space . Owners communicated well. Negative: Poor sound insulation - could hear footsteps during night and early morning. We got up at 6am to ask them to be quiet but they dismissed us and continued to move around even more. Neighbours also asked them too. The kitchen was full but contained just 2 of each basic item, a single sharp knife and a couple of cooking utensils only. It wasn’t clean. Soiled bath mat, tomato splashes on cupboard doors and obvious dust on windowsills.
